Joe Nunley Scholarship

Established by the Alumni T-Club (now known as the Varsity Club), the Joe Nunley Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $1,000.00 per semester to incoming students enrolled at MTSU as undergraduate or graduate students. The applicants must be the immediate child/dependent of a former MTSU student-athlete, coach, manager, or trainer.

For incoming first year students, a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 and an ACT composite score of 20 is required. For current students, a minimum college GPA of 3.0 is required. Incoming student does not need to be a MTSU student-athlete, coach, manager, or trainer to be eligible.

Dr. Joe Nunley was a professor at MTSU and instrumental in re-stablishing the Alumni T-Club (now known as the Varsity Club) for MTSU letterwinners of all sports.
