Thank you for being a member of the Blue Raider Athletic Association for the 2026-27 season! The BRAA team is excited to invite you to the 2026 BRAA Donor Celebration, where we will be back at Hollingshead Aviation, 300 Doug Warpoole Rd, Smyrna, TN 37167. 

Join us on Thursday, August 13th at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Our team is excited to showcase the impact your donations have made on our student-athletes, programs, and facilities as the BRAA celebrates 40 years of impact! Fasten your seatbelts for an unforgettable night of food, fun, and philanthropy.

The Member of the Year is presented annually in memory of Dr. Liz Rhea, a cherished philanthropist and friend of MTSU and Blue Raider Athletics. This award recognizes a BRAA member who exemplifies Dr. Rhea's spirit of being True Blue by demonstrating exceptional commitment to the Blue Raider Athletic Association. Selection Criteria: • Consistent and impactful financial contributions that directly benefit Blue Raider student-athletes, programs, or facilities. • Active volunteerism and dedication to the Association's mission through participation in events, committees, or mentorship. • Encouraging others to support the Blue Raider student-athlete experience
In memory of Roxie McHenry, this award recognizes a member who exemplifies unwavering loyalty and dedication to MTSU Athletics and the Blue Raider Athletic Association. Selection Criteria: • The member must have a long-standing history of supporting MTSU Athletics through season ticket purchases, attendance at games (preference for multiple sports), and financial contributions to the BRAA. • They should actively promote MTSU Athletics within their community. • Their passion and spirit for MTSU should be visible and evident.
This award honors the memory of Jeff Hendrix, a loyal donor, business leader, and friend of the Blue Raiders. The recipient of this award exemplifies outstanding commitment, generosity, and unwavering support for the Blue Raider Athletic Association's mission, both personally and professionally. Selection Criteria: • The recipient is a prominent business leader in the Middle Tennessee community who demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities. • The recipient has a longstanding history of supporting MTSU Athletics, extending beyond their business partnership. Their passion for Blue Raider athletics should be evident. • Demonstrates exceptional generosity towards the Blue Raider Athletic Association through their financial contributions and in-kind support professionally. • Embodies the True Blue spirit through their unwavering enthusiasm and advocacy for MTSU Athletics through their business endeavors.
The Doug Young Impact Award is named in recognition and memory of Doug Young, the ideal example of what it means to be a philanthropic alumnus who champions MTSU Athletics early in their professional ascent. Recipients honored with this award may be young in their career but already playing a leadership role in investing in the future of Blue Raider Athletics. Selection Criteria: • The person must be 35 years of age or younger at the time of nomination. • They have established a history of impactful support for MTSU Athletics, exceeding expectations for a young professional. This support may include financial contributions, volunteer service, or advocacy. • The nominee embodies the True Blue spirit through their infectious enthusiasm, unwavering loyalty, and commitment to the future success of MTSU Athletics. They serve as an inspiration for other young professionals.
This prestigious award is named in recognition of Bill and Theresa Ketron's exemplary leadership within the Middle Tennessee community. It honors a Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA) member who embodies their spirit of leadership and dedication. Selection Criteria: • The recipient has played a pivotal role in leading Blue Raider Athletics forward. Their contributions should be demonstrably significant. • They have been a dedicated member of the BRAA for a minimum of 25 years. • The recipient's contributions directly align with the BRAA's mission of supporting student-athlete success. Their efforts have demonstrably improved the well-being and opportunities for MTSU athletes. • The nominee has demonstrated a commitment to making MTSU a better place, extending their impact beyond athletics.
