BRAA AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

 

Athletics Ambassadors play a vital role in the success of the hospitality program and game days. Athletics Ambassadors serve as goodwill ambassadors to ticket holders and their guests while maintaining the operational policies in place for all premium seating areas. Athletics Ambassadors also serve as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Directors, and Athletic Department personnel.

Blue Raider Athletic Association BRAA Ambassadors

 

BRAA Ambassadors make up the Blue Raider Athletic Associations game day staff and are extensions of MTSU Athletics.  BRAA Ambassadors help us engineer the best game day experience possible by providing the highest level of hospitality for MTSU’s top donors and their guests.

 

BRAA Ambassadors love serving others, aim to go above and beyond, and know how to have a good time!  Our donors and their guests notice and appreciate the hard work and dedication of our team as a result, rewarding relationships can be built not just with peers, but also with the donors. Being an BRAA Ambassador also gives you tons of valuable experience to help make you competitive and boost your resume.  And the added bonus: you get paid to do it.

2023 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE – PLEASE SUBMIT THROUGH THE APPLICATION LINK BELOW
We’re looking for service-oriented people to work ALL 6 home games in the suites & clubs in Johnny “Red” Floyd Stadium!

HOURS & PAY | Depending on the length of the game and job duties, BRAA Ambassadors work anywhere from 7 to 10 hours. Pay rate is $10/hr.

 

We also need a select group of BRAA Ambassadors for men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and baseball seasons!

BRAA Ambassador Responsibilities require a high level of service and attentiveness. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Greet guests while simultaneously protecting the exclusivity of the premium area.
  • Direct guests to their destination.
  • Be a liaison between the guests & the management team by answering questions, fulfilling requests, and reporting feedback; be management’s eyes & ears.
  • Prepare assigned areas for gate opening with last-minute touches.
  • Bus trash, tidy up messes, replenish ice, and follow a duty checklist.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs.
  • Be familiar with the stadium layout.
  • Be knowledgeable of policies & procedures for the assigned area.
  • Be aware of all positions and responsibilities in order to support one another in teamwork.
  • Provide the highest standard of hospitality while serving the guests with attentiveness, eagerness, patience and professionalism

 

Description
BRAA Ambassadors play a vital role in the success of the hospitality program and game days. BRAA Ambassadors serve as goodwill ambassadors to ticket holders and their guests while maintaining the operational policies in place for all premium seating areas. BRAA Ambassadors also serve as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Directors, and Athletic Department personnel.

 

Duties:

  • Perform PEAK customer service for all guests, fans, and department staff
  • Act as game day ambassadors for the Hospitality office and athletics department
  • Ensure all game day policies and procedures are being upheld
  • Monitor entry gates, review tickets, and be aware of access control protocols
  • Serve as an elevator attendant and people movement monitor
  • Perform all pre, during, and post-game duties associated to suites and clubs (i.e., trash removal, facility monitoring, food & beverage needs, etc.)
  • During the game, serve as the main point of contact for suite holders and guests
  • Other duties as assigned

 

When & Where:

  • BRAA Ambassadors are hourly employees. Hours will range between 6-30 hours per week depending on the home game schedules and office needs each week
  • Football, basketball, baseball stadiums/arenas

 

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Service first mindset
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Great verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to stand or sit for long periods of time (30-45 minutes)
